Blossom Concerts

Since meeting during our studies at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Yoko and I have been close friends and wonderful musical partners. We share a deep commitment to story telling and pride ourselves in drawing out every ounce of drama, beauty, love and passion from every piece we perform together.

I am so excited to be joining Yoko in the country of her birth and to be performing concerts together there. We are having a great time preparing a stunning programme of two halves. In our first, we have some gems from across the British lsles and both song and piano solos from Edward Elgar. In the second, we will celebrate some of the finest composers of English Art Song including Frank Bridge, Madeline Dring, Roger Quilter and Ralph Vaughn Williams. I am also very lucky to have Yoko's award winning teaching skills to hand as she is coaching me in preparing some utterly beautiful Japanese songs to share with our hosts!
