For twelve years I have been giving all sorts of concerts from street performing in York to singing for weddings, dinner dances, charity concerts, recitals and performances in major West End theatres. Gala Opera concerts cover pretty much everything, for me, it is the love of presenting opera to audiences in an exciting and approachable way, sharing the stories as well as the music.

Sometimes I perform alone with the aid of recorded backings this allows me to perform in venues which don't have, or can't house a piano. However, should we be lucky enough to be performing in a venue with a well kept piano, my great friend and accompanist, Yoko Hirao is able to join me. We have been working together for five years now since we met at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and our relationship both musically and personally makes performing together a real treat, for us and the audience!

In 2006 I decided to expand upon the formula by inviting another very dear friend of mine, Daniel Grice, a wonderful Baritone to work with us.

We are now very excited to be working with a fantastic young Tenor, Johnathon Staughton who will be able to join us on future events. The mix of voices allows us to share with our audiences a wide range of the fantastic stories and stunning music of opera. We are able to perform the great duets and trios which we all know and love along with a wide repertoire of solos ranging from opera to musicals! We are all in the early years of our careers it is not always possible for all of us to be available at the same time and it may be necessary to make substitutions from time to time.
