Demelza is a promising young Dramatic Soprano at an exciting stage in her development.

Having completed her Bachelor of Music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, she transferred to the Royal College of Music for a year of Postgraduate studies. Then she decided to go it alone... With the help of her most trusted teachers and coaches from the conservatoires and opera houses Demelza continued with an intensive course of studying preparation for the dramatic roles she faces in the future.

This year has seen big changes for Demelza and she is very pleased to have recently begun exciting new work under the tuition of Nelly Miricioiu and Ameral Gunson with whom she is currently preparing for recordings at Wigmore Hall.

Her passion for music is vividly evident in her performances as she commits herself entirely to the characters who's stories she shares. Demelza performs regularly in concerts, recitals, dinner functions and even as a street performer in order to share with people the music which touches her so deeply.

Demelza is often asked to add something a little individual to special occasions such as weddings and always enjoys producing programmes to match every event, from popular opera to the musicals, there's something for everybody to enjoy!

A Yorkshire girl at heart, Demelza lives and studies in London for most of the year but happily travels throughout England and abroad to perform.
